Sybille May was an English sculptor working in France during the inter-war years. She was a member of the La Stele and L'Evolution Groups. L'Evolution was an artist's society that exhibited at the Arts Decoratifs Exposition in Paris in 1925. Some of her angular ceramic figures were decorated in subtle polychrome hues by her friend and fellow member of the La Stele group, Edouard Cazaux.
